About the Artist...... Robyn Smith has been throwing pottery for the last ten years. She learned from her South Decatur High School Art Teacher, Mary McCormick and Elementary Teacher Christi Reynolds. After High School, she studied Glass Blowing and Political Science at the University of Washington in Seattle. Once she graduated she moved home to Southern Indiana to refocus on her true love of Hand Throwing Pottery. After selling her wares at craft shows for a couple of years, she has settled down to a cozy little studio in Greensburg, IN - Mud House Pottery. The Studio resembles an Italian Villa which offers lots of inspiration for the Paint Your Own Pottery customers. There's always a free hot cup of coffee available and lots of intriguing gift items on the shelves. So the next time your passing through the City with the Tree on the Courthouse Tower remember to stop in and see what the latest creation is.
About the Studio.. Mud House Pottery offers a collection of hand thrown stoneware pottery and a Paint Your Own Pottery Studio. We also offer Handmade Gifts from Artisans across the United States. The Stoneware Collection includes bowls, pitchers, dishes, mugs, and many other pieces. All the pieces are hand thrown here in the studio. The Paint Your Own Studio allows everyone to join in with the pottery making process. We have a wide range of pottery pieces available to paint. We also have a wide range of gift items available in the studio.
